Effectively demoing Nova Delegation & Policy Control comes with knowledge of the product, and with some practice.
On this page you’ll find information about doing a Nova Delegation & Policy Control demo in a special environment which Greg Jones has created.
Do not use this for ‘playing’, only use it for demos.

- Do not modify the existing policies
- Remove any users who have been assigned to a policy, at the end of the demo.

Video 1
Use case 1 & 2
In this video Greg describes use cases 1 and 2 (Helpdesk level 1, and Helpdesk level 2). He explains the authorization policies which have been configured and the capabilities it gives to the delegated administrators.
The video walks through the process of assigning a delegated administrator to the configured policy, demonstrating the capabilities, and then resetting the policy. He also explains how policies can be stacked (accumulating available actions from multiple authorization policies).
